I'm very grateful for my service advisor (Efrain Guerrero) who persisted and got me a loaner during what turned about to be a 2 week period for my car issue to be diagnosed and repaired. I want to highlight the 5 star excellence of Efrain Guerrero in the Service Dept. He is professional, informative, doesn't talk over you, listens very well, provides followup, and is thorough. My experience buying a car was excellent from start to finish. Nathan was amazing to work with he communicated very well throughout the entire process and made everything smooth and easy. Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable

I brought my truck in to be evaluated with a coolant leak and they replaced the radiator. The next morning I still had coolant leaking and my air conditioner was not working ( it was working fine when I dropped the car off). Also the fan stoped working.

Best customer service

I had one of the best service experiences ever today. A RED SERVICE BRAKES Warning Light came on last night. I took the car in today, a holiday, in the middle of the afternoon. The service department was extremely busy. Reggie Shelton, Assistant Service Manager was knowledgeable, gracious, and extremely personal. He quickly identified the the brake issue and took my car back, even though there were no more service appointments. The inspection revealed that the pad monitor was not working and the brakes didn't need any work. Reggie helped me set up a schedule for Penske to inspect my brakes. He didn't charge me for the service, and even washed my car. Penske will have my business now, and I look forward to working with Reggie and the excellent service team at Penske Buick GMC. South Bay. Thank you so very much!

The person, Robert Wright, who took my car ticket was not very informative to me about what was going on with my car and he took a vacation. My car was there way too long and I just don’t wanna deal with his services ever.

We had a very good and easy experience with all that were involved in the two leases we did on 2/10/26. We had visited several dealerships prior to Penske and none even tried to work with us to get us where we needed to be. The manager and salesperson literally made the whole process stress free.

Easy appointment process, started working on oil change, found and plugged tire, clean car, and pretty reasonable timeline.

Had my car almost 2 weeks. I had to text for updates. Vehicle was not clean when picked up

It took about a day and a half to do everything I needed to have done (wheel reconditioning, new tires, one new taillight lense, etc.). I was very pleased with the quickness of the service.

They damaged my vehicle will return any of my calls. Never going there again. Legal action may have to be taken to get my car fixed.

Bob was great. Understood I wanted in and out and provided the pricing I was looking for with ease. I sent out numerous requests from various dealers and Bob understood what type of buyer I was. It felt more like the high end dealerships I have purchased Aston martins, Lamborghinis, Mercedes, BMW, etc. It was a no nonsense experience and that is rare when buying an American car. Penske has finally resolved my issues. After wasting so much time taking my Sierra EV to the wrong dealership, Penske of South Bay has finally resolved my issues. After almost a year I can finally enjoy my truck to the fullest. I’m pleased with the service and the kindness of all the staff.

My vehicle was there for like a month a half, picked up vehicles but still encountering same issues then when I originally took it in for. I have informed the dealership but have not really gotten an actual solution

I was feeling some shuttering in my transmission. I had my mechanic, from my own body shop, look at it, he didn't think the transmission was bad, but that maybe it was the MAP sensor. i took it to my transmission guy, he also didn't think the transmission was bad, but only did a ride along, and didn't go further to diagnose. So I decided to bring it in. i thought for sure you guys were gonna have me get a new transmission or something to make money. Rob Wright took my info and told me a week, I didn't like leaving my wife's car, but that was fine. i had to come back to my car twice to get things out that i left behind, but everyone was super nice and helpful. in the end Robert called and said the transmission just needed ot be reprogrammed and that it'll be $289. WAY LESS that the cost of a new transmission or torque converter. I was very grateful and thankful you guys just took care of the problem, and that I can trust that no cheating was going on. I appreciate that, and Will have no problem bringing my cars from now on. This is the second GMC I've had to bring in to have the transmission reprogrammed at 60,000 miles. I guess its just how they're made. Anyway, thank you guys for doing a great and trustworthy job. I'll for sure be back for the next one.

Staff are all very welcoming and friendly. The wait time for my service to be completed was very long, and longer than quoted. The prices to do the services at the dealership are much high than other auto mechanics. Please consider offering more deals or taking competitor coupons/advertised prices.
